Yes, there are a lot of options out there when it comes to social media, but it doesn’t mean you have to drown yourself in every platform; you can start out by picking and choosing the platforms that are really the most relevant to your business, the ones that really do the most leveraging for your brand. The number one, that is relevant to every business, is Facebook. Number two for a dental practice would probably be LinkedIn, and the other most relevant platforms would be Google+, Instagram, and YouTube. Pick one or two of these platforms to begin with, focus on, and go from there.

Myth number 4: We don’t have the money to spend on social media marketing
Yes, if you throw it all in a pot and hope for the best, you are likely going to be wasting your money. But if you set goals for your social media marketing, just like any other marketing plan, your business will strive.
